What is Zymurgy?
the study or practice of fermentation in brewing, winemaking, or distilling.
It’s an unusual word, and you will find it in the last entry of the English dictionary.
The Greek-based term was coined in the 19th century as “the workings of fermentation.” In modern vernacular, zymurgy, an applied science, is the study of the biochemical process of fermentation and its practical uses.
